Under 3’s section

Two rooms catering for 15 babies aged 6 months-2 years. One room catering for 16 toddlers aged 2-3 years.

Hours of opening 8.15 – 5.45.

Open 49 weeks of the year with one week closure in August, one week at Christmas and five school inset days.

Places will be either full time Monday to Friday or part time 2 or 3 days Monday to Tuesday or Thursday to Friday with Wednesdays as an option to link onto either beginning or end of week. 

Breakfast, mid morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack with fruit and a light supper will be inclusive.

Fees will be £41 per day or £205 per week for a full time baby place and £36 per day or £180 per week for a toddler. Fees for part time places will be divided into a daily amount. All fees will be payable by standing order.

When your child is 2 years old, you will need to apply for a nursery place in the 3-5’s section of the Centre. You should complete a second application form which you can get from the office. For more information about services for families, click on the link below.

3-5’s section

There are two rooms catering for 3-5 year olds. Each room takes 40 full time children and 40 part-time children (20 in the morning and 20 in the afternoon). This is a free service, although a charge is made for school lunch unless the child is entitled to free school meals.

The service is available term-time only (see Holiday Dates in the Dates and Events section.)

Breakfast and after school club

This is available from 8.15-9.15am and 3.15-5.45pm for children from the 3-5’s section. The charge for breakfast club is £20 a week and for after school club, the charge is £50 per week.

Holiday Playschemes

These will be available during the holiday period if there is sufficient demand from families attending the centre. The charge for this service will be £150 per week. 

Family Education and Support

A variety of providers visit the centre to run group and individual sessions for parents/carers and families. See the weekly programme in the dates and events section of our website, and the Sure Start “What’s on” brochure.
