Training
We are able to offer placements for students undertaking child care training, providing that this also supports the needs of children in the centre.
Students from several local colleges attend Kintore Way on short or long term placements to support their learning in college. They study a variety of courses: GNVQ, NVQ, BTEC and Teacher Training.
Staff at Kintore Way have a commitment to share good practice by supporting other professionals undergoing child care training. Placements at the centre are always much in demand.
Staff also have a commitment to their own continuing professional development, and the enhancement of Kintore Way as a learning community for adults as well as children.
